To verify you are secure, you can look at your URL in your browser. The first part should say https:// instead of http://
When logged in securely you can view our site certificate which has been securely signed by a third party to guarantee its authenticity. If your browser shows a little picture of a lock on its status bar, click it to view our secure information.
Cookies are used on this site in order for the Control Panel to remember that you are logged in. They are not used to track you in any other way. Disabling cookies will also disable this site and you will not be able to use your control panel.
Your personal account information is never shared with anybody other than Life By Design employees who may be viewing it to assist you. Your information is never sold or given to marketers. As a client of Life By Design, you may occasionally receive e-mail or promotional mail to announce new features or new additions to our site.
Life By Design maintains a strict anti-spam policy. We only contact potential clients who have signed up through our website, or who have expressed an interest in our product at a trade show by giving us their business card or otherwise contacting a sales person. If you wish to not receive e-mail or other contacts please ask and we will remove you from our database.
Mailing lists, contact lists, and lists of clients provided to Life By Design are never used for any reason with the sole exception of sending a magazine on our clients behalf, six times per year. Your database is kept private and secure and will never be given, sold, or read by anybody other than Life By Design employees in the duties they are assigned when providing service to you.
Your billing information is stored in our database, encrypted with a 1024 bit PGP private key. This is the same level of encryption used by government agencies and is considered one of the strongest available. Billing information is transmitted securely to our credit card processor over an SSL encrypted channel. Only the Chief Technical Officer and the programming staff have access to the encrypted database. Only the Chief Technical Officer has the password to that database's key.
