If you've ever been guilted into feeling bad about the choices you've made, how you look, what your interests are or how you choose to live your life, then this podcast is for you.

As of late, shaming has been a hot topic in the media on a worldwide scale.

Interestingly enough, if you do a little research you'll have a hard time finding a solid definition on 'shaming' much less two people who defined the term in the same way.

There seems to be a general idea of what 'shaming' means, but there certainly isn't clear definition that exists. And what's worse, if you can't properly define a problem it makes it almost impossible to come up with a solution.

One of the areas you may have never considered as something that someone would be shamed for is when people are trying to make the right decisions. Believe it or not, there is such a thing as health shaming, which means shaming for wanting or trying to be healthy.

Here Is What We Covered

  • The definition of shaming. What it means to shame and be shamed and how there is power in knowing exactly what you are dealing with so you can fix it.
  • Why shaming really stems from these two concepts that we covered in previous podcasts.
  • Practical action steps that you can take to reduce your response to shaming and those people who are trying to shame you.
