Special equipment: cast iron skillet
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped finely
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil or ghee
Steps
- Combine ground turkey, maple syrup, frozen blueberries, rosemary and salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Combine with your hands.
- Form into small patties.
- In a cast iron skillet heat coconut oil or ghee on medium heat.
- Add the sausage patties to the skillet in two separate batches.
- Cook the sausage patties for 7-8 minutes a side.
Yields 12-14 breakfast patties.
