EBD Recipe: By Design Barbecue Sauce

Eat By Design

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Kitchen tools needed: sauce pan

Ingredients:

  • 1, 700 ml jar of tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons molasses

Steps:

  1. Over medium heat combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. 
  2. Simmer on low for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve over pulled pork and store the unused barbecue sauce in an airtight container.
